When a former page 3 girl and her rock star husband split up it's big news. 'Twas ever thus!
The lovely Eurydice hates her famous husband, Orpheus, and longs for local entrepreneur, Aristeus. Little does she know that he's actually Luto, God of the Underworld, in disguise. When he takes her off to Hell, Orpheus is overjoyed, but for the sake of appearances he appeals to the Gods to return her. The ensuing musical romp climaxes in the famous Can-Can and, with some re-writing of history all ends happily ever after!
“A national cultural treasure” “The biggest musical success story that Leeds has to offer”
