[chat] Leeds Triathlon
I'm not a spoil sport but I do object to the lack of information about
the road closures for the Triathlon.
I've just sent an email (A little late in the day) to complain about it.
The people affected by the event are not being given the information
needed to go about their business.
*Do others feel the same way?*
The content of the email:
What all motorists want is a map of road closures. Not just a map of
We want to know where we can drive to and from our homes. (If possible)
We want to know where the crossing points are to get access into and
out of the circular route of the event.
We want this map to be clear enough to easily understand.
We want the map to be easy to find. i.e. at the top of the web site.
All the information seems to aimed at enthusiasts.
What about the people that are affected but just want to be able to
go about their normal business?
In some past events there has been a police officer controlling a
crossing point and allowing cars through when convenient.
Are we allowed through the "Inner Ring Road"?
Disruption is not the problem. Its the lack of easy to find
information about how to deal with it.
