Bedford Fields

Bedford Fields is a lovely spot of public council owned land, in Woodhouse, very near to Hyde Park Corner and the City School entrance to Woodhouse Ridge.  Its quite secluded and you hardly know you're in the in the middle of the city when you're on the site.

Bedford Fields is about an acre of land in total and already has a mixed species hedge planted and fenced of as a wildlife corridor leading to Woodhouse Ridge.  We've had monthly workdays from March 2010 and have done much clearing ground and planting fruit trees and bushes.

The work installing the forest garden at Bedford Fields site continues. In 2012 we've got some more funding for plants and materials, so there's lots of mulching, clearing ground and planting to do.  Come down for an enjoyable day on the land.  Come for all or part of the day, work at your own pace.  Tools provided.
